Step One: Apply topical anesthesia to anterior and posterior aspects of the mouth. Wait a few minutes.
Step Two: Place MADgicWand™ along floor of mouth; retract tongue and apply anesthesia towards epiglottis and laryngeal inlet. Wait a few minutes then proceed with fiber optic intubation.
