Deliver atomized medications directly into the lungs without interrupting ventilation to the patient.

1. Insert MADett into endotracheal tube.

2. Re-attach ventilation device and resume ventilation

3. Attach luer-lock syringe full of medication

4. Compress syringe and 30 micron spray exits at the tip of the ETT.

Indications for Use
  1. To establish a path by which to inject medication into the lungs of a patient who is being ventilated through an intubated airway.

  2. To establish a means by which to introduce medication into an intubated airway without interrupting the flow of life-supporting ventilation to the patient
Contraindications
  • Do not use with an endotracheal tube that is smaller than a 7.0 mm i.d. or shorter than 28 cm.
