The MADgic laryngo-tracheal mucosal atomization device consists of a small atomizing tip at the end of an 8.5” long flexible applicator that is used for dispensing topical medications to the nose, mouth, throat, hypopharynx, larynx and trachea in a fine, gentle mist. MADgic is the ideal airway device for delivering topical anesthetics prior to difficult/awake intubations, bronchoscopy, TEE and endoscopy.

MADgic is not a prefilled device; as such, its versatility offers total control over topical medication delivery. The practitioner selects the type of medication and exact dosing desired, and can attain precise, targeted delivery specific to the patient’s anatomy by shaping the malleable stylet. With MADgic there are no inventory expiration issues to contend with and the disposable device eliminates the cross-contamination risks associated with reusable atomizers.

Step 1
Atomize topical anesthetic into nose / mouth / throat using MADgic.

Step 2
Bend MADgic stylet into a 90 degree curve, slip past tongue and atomize additional anesthetic into glottis area.

Step 3
Position patient for intubation, atomize anesthetic onto vocal cords. You are now ready to intubate.
